Flamencology regularly hold mid-year peñas at their studios for students to showcase their work in progress to family and friends. The studio gatherings tend to be intimate and semi-formal with the emphasis on making the evening as fun and stress-free as possible. All students (apart from those the beginners class) are encouraged to take part. The dances performed are a pre-cursor to those performed at the end-of-year shows.

 

Our major performances are held at the end of the year at the Zenith Theatre in Chatswood. They are usually major productions with traditional flamenco dances in the first half of the evening followed by flamenco-dance-theatre in the second half. As the venue is more formal, the level of the show is more professional than the mid-year peñas
