After 26 years of continuous operation, Katia Ruiz has decided to retire from teaching. In doing so, Flamencology Dance Studio has officially closed. However, flamenco dance classes will continue to be taught at the same venue (Dance102) in Artarmon by another teacher, Marina Tamayo, who is principal of the flamenco school "Flamenco Australia" that also runs classes on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and the Sydney CBD.
